Hints of cherry with an overlay of dried spice and cloves. Layers of bright red fruits with hints of vanillin oak creating a finely balanced and long finish.

Region | Marlborough, New Zealand - Omaka, Waihopai and Wairau Valleys

Winemaking | Our selected estate vineyard blocks were kept separate until final blending. The grape bunches are mostly destemmed and all fermented naturally in open vats. After gentle plunging the wine is drained to barrels for 11 months prior to blending.

Alcohol | 13.0%

Vintage | 2019 was a very dry and warm growing season bringing with it small yields with great fruit concentration. One of our earliest harvests with picking starting at 
the beginning of March.
