Vintage 2019
Harvest 2019 will go down as one of the driest and lowest cropping years we have seen. Our Waihopai Valley vineyards had mixed fortunes during flowering which resulted in some varieties having low berry numbers and small crops.
Vintage 2017
Vintage 2017 was a challenge for sure. The weather leading into harvest was good, and all varieties looked good with less stress from the drought conditions leading into 2015 and 2016.
Vintage 2015
In one word – DRY. After some mixed weather at the start of the growing season, summer arrived in time for Christmas, and temperatures never really changed right into mid-March.
